What is the difference between Class B or Class A glassware?

The distinction between Class A and Class B laboratory glassware is the level of accuracy that each encompasses. Class A offers the highest levels of accuracy, whilst Class B is calibrated to a lower level of accuracy and therefor used for more general laboratory tasks where precise volumetric measures are less important.

Class A glassware usually has better resistance to chemical and thermal applications than Class B, therefor is more likely to remain at a high degree of accuracy for a longer time.
